For many, booking the first appointment is the hardest. If you are ready to get started, you have three options to choose from:
1) I offer a free 15-minute meet and greet. This session is designed for you to “interview” me about my therapeutic approach and background. During this time I may ask you about your treatment needs and goals, however, this brief session is not a therapy session. We can meet over the phone, Skype, or in person.
2) If you feel you are ready to start therapy, give me a call to discuss availability. I work out of my psychology, movement, and nutrition clinic Studio B. In addition to me we have a great team of psychotherapists, personal trainers, life coaches, and nutrition coaches ready to help you create the best version of yourself. Our first session will be an intake session. In this session, we will review your treatment needs, goals and personal history. This will help you make sure you get appointments when it best fits your schedule and time lines for your treatment.
In the event you would like to get started before I have a new client opening, I have provided a list of resources with a local therapist referral list on this page to help you get the treatment you need.
3) Looking for health and wellness coaching? We can start with a 15 minute meet and greet or an hour assessment appointment (see above). Assessments help us find your baseline starting point so we can accurately program your wellness goals. We can meet over the phone, in person, or via telehealth. These sessions are typically not covered by insurance.
The online scheduling calendar and messaging system is provided via a HIPPA secure website. Current clients can create a client profile, request appointments, and cancel or change appointment times. I will be able to review your request and approve or offer an alternative to the requested appointment times. Reminders are sent via email and text messaging.
