Summer time is the perfect time to get outside and get active. Here are some ideas on what to do to keep moving toward your perfect health.
- Go for a walk – fast enough but you can still check out the flowers
- Grab a friend and run
- Take a bike ride
- Hike a new trail
- Backpack and camp
or just camp any old way – tent, RV, or car - Water ski or wakeboard
- Go fishing
- Climb a tree
- Walk a round of golf
- Kayak or canoe
- Enter an event – find local 5k, 10k, triathlons, and other races – even if you are on vacation!
- Build a fort
- Climb trees
- Plant a garden – or participate in a community garden. You could also help a neighbor weed, plant, and harvest.
- Push mow your grass
- Play flashlight tag
- Catch fireflies
- Swim
- Join the kids on the playground and play just as hard
- And most of all … make sure to laugh, smile, and enjoy yourself
